Ukodhiko To Host NELFUND Boss Akintunde Sawyerr For Student Loan Sensitization In Isoko
The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, is set to receive the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Akintunde Sawyerr, on a sensitization visit to higher institutions across Isoko.
The visit, according to sources, follows a formal request by the federal lawmaker aimed at ensuring that students particularly those from Isoko North and South Federal Constituency are adequately informed and well positioned to benefit from the Federal Government’s student loan programme.
The sensitization exercise is expected to provide students with comprehensive information on the application procedures, eligibility criteria, and other key guidelines required to successfully access the NELFUND scheme.
Rep. Ukodhiko noted that the initiative became necessary in view of available statistics indicating that many eligible students within the constituency have yet to take full advantage of the education loan opportunity.
The lawmaker emphasized that the engagement underscores his commitment to expanding educational access, reducing financial barriers for students, and ensuring that constituents benefit maximally from Federal Government interventions in the education sector
